Green Valley of Russian River Valley

Green Valley of Russian River Valley, located within the acclaimed Russian River Valley, is one of the smallest appellations of Sonoma County. The coastal morning fog defines the region, which is often cooler than other parts of Russian River Valley, creating ideal growing conditions for Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The fine sandy loam soils of Green Valley of Russian River Valley, referred to as "Goldridge" for its gold color, are sought-after for producing wines of the highest quality.
